Tuna here is the best. Also additional dishes were rich in amount, not to mention delicious! A must in Shizuoka.

Good quality and quantity lunch. Ordered "Shin Maguro Tishoku" - Tuna lunch plate, and "sakuraebi no kakiage" - deep-fried small local shrimp. Both were was nice, but especially the Kakiage was excellent!

The Maguro Teisyoku (Tuna Set Menu) is only 1000yen, but you’ll get the whole range of maguro meal including sashimi, deep-fry (tempura-style), grilled with sauce, miso soup and rice. I was surprised at the volume that you get, and if you can eat more, you can ask for extra grilled or deep-fry maguro for free. The set menu is provided in a limited amount each day, but other set menus are also available. I recommend that to get here before 12pm to get a seat, otherwise it may be a 30min-1hours wait.
