Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan｜魚処 さがみ

One of the best sushi places I have ever eaten. I paid 2400yen for a plate of sushi and sake for lunch menu. The owner was really kind and the service was stellar. Do have either a Japanese speaker or be able to speak Japanese yourself if you want service.

Amazing fresh seafood, the sashimi was incredible. The tempura and the fried horse mackerel were also great. The super friendly owners tried to explain us everything even though we didn't speak Japanese (using Google translate). If you don't speak japanese, rather show pictures from Google to order. We got some snails and edamame as a welcome dish and a matcha tee to finish. Would definitely come again.

On a very hot day, I visited the store right after it opened on my way back from Hatage Onsen. Although I was the only customer, the host's warm customer service made me stay for a long time. It's a wonderful restaurant, with delicious fish, tempura, and chicken, and a variety of local sake that goes well with the dishes. This is a restaurant that I have been using for a long time and would like to visit again.
