We stumbled across this family owned restaurant and was instantly captivated by the hospitality and service provided, not to mention the delicious food! Owners were super friendly and happy to watch the baseball on the TV with us! Love from Australia!

There are quite a few delicious restaurants near Gotemba. This one is particularly worth recommending. The ingredients and style are great.

All of the beautiful, detailed and carefully prepared dishes were delicious and went perfectly with the low-alcohol content and easy-drinking sake! What impressed me most was the appetizer. There are two small dishes that look like a la carte dishes from a Japanese restaurant. Moreover, the cost performance is the best at 500 yen! Other options include fried tofu, grilled chicken with salt koji, and dashimaki tamago, all of which have gentle flavors and beautiful appearances. However, there were only a few single items on the menu, and there was no standard dessert menu to end a girls' night out. If anything, it seems like they are putting more effort into course meals. There are a variety of non-alcoholic drinks such as shochu, sake, cocktails and sours. I usually order cocktails that claim things like collagen or vitamin C and end up regretting it, but this one was delicious ♡ Moreover, the prices for single dishes and drinks are quite reasonable. Even if the three of us drank 2-3 cups each, we would get change for 10,000 yen. Only one thing was disappointing Google Maps here said they were open until 11am, but after 9:30am, I received a billing slip casually telling me that they were closing at 10am, so please come here. I wanted to drink a little more slowly lol But I'm very happy to be able to enjoy delicious food and drink alcohol for the first time in a while. ●Seat In addition to the counter, there are long, narrow chairs that look like eel beds, separated by the number of people. I could hear the neighbors a little, but it was nice to have a private room. ●Parking lot There is no dedicated parking lot, but if you park at the Gotembakan paid parking lot in front of the building, you will receive a 1-hour service ticket.
