Kobe, Hyogo, Japan｜神戸 味兵衛

A really nice traditional Izakaya. I don’t think they have an English menu or picture menu so it’s probably a good place to go with a Japanese friend unless you are very adventurous. However, the food and drink were excellent and the atmosphere is great and the staff friendly.

When I lived in Kōbe this was my go to spot for late night food. The sake is flowing and the food is great. You have to try the sobameshi and yakisoba. The chef is a really nice man who will remember you if you go often. An authentic local environment for a lively dinner.
