A wonderful izakaya that you probably won't find a better place in Kawanishi. The inside of the restaurant seems a little small with 4 counter seats, 4 tables, and 2 tatami seats (horizontal kotatsu style), but that's not a problem at all. When I visited on a Sunday night, it seemed a little quiet. Most of the customers seem to be a little older, but even younger people will have no problem spending time here. Apparently it operates as a set meal restaurant during the day and as an izakaya at night. However, it seems that they serve a la carte dishes even from noon, so it is recommended for those who want to have a drink during the day (however, the turnover rate seems to be high during lunch, so you may not be able to get a generous amount of service). Anyway, the food here is delicious! ! 😯 They seem to have a different selection of a la carte dishes than other restaurants. In particular, the structure offers something unique that cannot be found anywhere else. I received something called ``sesame blowfish,'' but they also stock other items that you can't find elsewhere, such as yokowa, pepperfish, and gurnard. It's not a fixed menu, so it seems to change depending on the stocking situation that day. There are also many other dishes that are original to this restaurant, such as raw sea urchin pickled in Saikyo and deep-fried rice cakes. And the sake lineup is what sets it apart from others. Although they do offer shochu, kakuhai, plum wine, and wine, they place the highest emphasis on sake. We carry local sake such as Akishika, Goshun, and the classic Hakkaisan, but we also have other sakes that are hard to find elsewhere, such as Kyoto Haru, Tenon, Kaishun, Dawn Mae, and Chochin. My recommendation is ``Gangi''. It is a good sake that retains a strong rice flavor and is easy to drink, showing off the strengths of Japanese sake. This also seems to vary greatly depending on the season and supplier conditions. Another good thing about this store is its homely atmosphere. The master and landlady will tell you about their wealth of knowledge and passion, and will deal with even the most trivial stories without making a bad face. It seems that there are many regular customers who know each other, and they continue to come here even during the coronavirus pandemic. Maybe it's the comfortable environment that makes it so. It also supports QR code payment, and you can also pay with Paypay. I think I'll come again if I have the time and money to spare.

A small restaurant where you can enjoy seasonal dishes. at home. Local sake from all over Japan is also available. 2019.4. Today, on the recommendation of the store manager, I ate Mana bonito sashimi. I ate it for the first time at the age of 63, but it was very fatty and delicious ♥ He said that he got a big and good one today. I love Kokoro because the season is purchased by the store manager's discerning eye, and it is cooked and served so that it can be eaten deliciously. The food is classy but not too expensive. It's more expensive than a cheap izakaya, though. 2019.4. The other day, I ate bamboo shoot tempura and it was delicious, so I ordered it again today, and the manager recommended it. In the conversation at that time, the manager said that he dislikes Instagrammable. I think I know what you mean, but are my photos taken well? It was cute how he reluctantly accepted it with his lips pouting when I replied that it would be an advertisement.

This restaurant is run by a family and has a relaxing atmosphere. There are also many types of sake. The fish is delicious, and the famous raw mackerel ham is often sold out, so you should definitely try it.
