Ogaki, Gifu, Japan｜Gokan

The best shop where you can enjoy seasonal Japanese food.

I attended a dinner party for about three hours from 5:00 p.m. The first and second floors, and the first floor, have a cooking area, counter, and table seats. I don't know about the seating on the second floor, but there are five full members, including the board members alone. The food is pure Japanese style, more like a kappo restaurant than an izakaya. There is also plenty of room for dinner parties. The fish was also very good, and the battered mackerel I had at the end was excellent. The one thing I regret is that I wanted to try the boiled kinki, which had a nice shape and color, but I couldn't cut it into smaller portions because it would fall apart, so I gave up. The grilled mackerel sushi I received as a souvenir was delicious, but the battera was so delicious that I was a little disappointed. Ogaki is incredibly profound.

Actually, I don't want to tell you much about it, but it's more like a Japanese-style kappo restaurant than my favorite delicious izakaya. It's a nice little shop. Even if you are a single woman, you can enjoy it at the counter. It's a little intimidating at first, but I've become familiar with the faces, and I'm enjoying delicious seasonal dishes while listening to the staff. You can eat in a relaxed manner.
