Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Yamatou

Very clean and modern shinshu soba shop. Soba noodles were high quality and freshly made, and the ladies running the restaurant were very friendly offering an English menu and giving us a free side of shiso infused noodles. Coviniently located next to the NW exit of Matsumoto Castle, and a nice local Nagano specialty.

Had two types of buck wheat noodles and 2 tempura trays with Saka! Tasted good.

Great ambience.. Authentic experience.. Delicious food.. Kind and warm staff.. Had a wonderful experience!!!!
