Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan｜Sasakura

An old Japanese restaurant with a contemporary twist. We ordered soba to eat with walnuts sauce and soba tempura. The taste was traditional and very delicious. We parked in front on a rainy day and there were a lot of customers. We waited about 30 minutes. Very good for our experience

Loved this little soba place. No menu in English but the staff is very helpful. Loved the tendon as well and its under 1000 yen. Soba is served with different kinds of sauce. Price is very reasonable!

Best Soba just outside of Karuizawa. Order the warm in the cold December days. Definitely order soba trisomy ¥1150 the best set comes with rice, salad, tempura, sashimi, and all you can drink ochai all for ¥1150. Lived in Belmont, CA but now I want to live Karuizawa
