Nagano, Japan｜Okubo no chaya

Currently the best soba place I have been to in Japan. There is 2 other places to the the left of this restaurant and trust me the line outside this place is definitely worth the wait. If available I suggest getting the daily fresh mountain vegetable tempura. This is available depending on what they pick that day. The service was friendly, fast and explained everything. There is no English available so if you cannot read google translate. The menu did have some pictures but not for everything.

The food was superb. A very cozy environment, amazing for a nice lunch after walking through Togakushi Shrines.
