This is my first visit to Kuni-ya, which has good reviews on Google Maps. We arrived around 11:30 on a Saturday and there were still seats available so we were seated easily. The photo shows (warm) top tempura soba (large serving) The staff was friendly and the food was excellent, making it a very pleasant meal. By the time we finished eating, the place was full and there were people waiting!

This is a restaurant where you can eat soba, udon, cooked rice, and mochi. All the dishes are delicious, but in the winter, the nabeyaki udon is delicious, and in the summer, the chilled tanuki (both udon and soba) is delicious. Nabeyaki udon noodles have a firm texture, so you can feel the texture even when simmered, and the miso-flavored soup is piping hot, warming you from the inside out. Chilled tanuki allows you to enjoy the texture of soba, udon, and noodles. We recommend this for those who are worried that they might not be able to eat all the tempura. I tried eating yam steak with grated yam (miso soup set) as a side dish. The yam noodles served with yam are so sticky that you can pick them up with chopsticks. The rice with red rice (?) has a chewy texture and a refreshing taste. The duck steak had a chewy texture and the sweetness of the meat. When you put a little bit of the yam sauce on the duck and stuff it in your mouth with the yam, the rice brings together the flavor of the yam and the umami of the duck, making it really delicious. It was lunch time, and the cars were full one after another, and I was in trouble because I couldn't park on the street. I moved immediately because I could park two cars in the parking lot. However, I waited for almost an hour. It was hot, so I ordered shrimp tempura bukkake soba and tempura. It was a lot for me, but I managed to eat it. It was delicious. They also have rice cakes and mini tempura rice bowls, so I like rice cakes. Next time I would like to come to the store with mochi. I wish the parking lot was a little wider. Even when I was eating, cars came one after another and it felt like I was waiting for an empty space.
