Takasaki, Gunma, Japan｜Yoidokoro Sempuku

I had sashimi with milt tempura and fried tofu. Sashimi is tuna, boiled octopus, scallops, grilled cod roe, peeled shrimp. Everything was delicious. The scallops are especially sweet, and the tuna is delicious with its fluffy fat. The octopus is perfectly cooked and soft. The cod roe is also fragrant. Milt tempura is impressed by the heat. Crispy on the outside and fatty on the inside. Very good. The deep-fried tofu soup stock and tofu are just classy. I think it goes well with ginjo and plain junmai. At the counter, it's fun to catch a glimpse of the unadorned appearance of the employees.

This is the izakaya that I used when I visited Gunma Prefecture for the first time! It was my first time in Gunma prefecture, but it was a huge hit 😊 The food was delicious, and the employees were very friendly and I was able to enjoy the drinks in a very pleasant manner. The customer base was very friendly, and they taught me a lot about Gunma Prefecture, which was very helpful. Also, this is an izakaya that you definitely want to visit when you go to Gunma Prefecture 🌟
