Tatebayashi, Gunma, Japan｜Torihei Tatebayashi Store

This Torihei branch offers bentos to go only and I've found them to be quite delicious. Their yakitori's very tasty as well. Wish Torihei would expand into Chiba! 🤣 I make a 4 hour, 2-way drive, just to get their bentos. That's how much I love their food! 😆

I stopped by while sightseeing in Tochigi and Gunma. I've been wanting to try it ever since it was introduced on TV. If you're a Chiba resident like me, this store might be close (although it's quite far). Cars with prefectural license plates as well as cars with other prefecture license plates come in all the time. You can see how much everyone loves Torimeshi. I bought it around 3:30 pm and ate it after 8 pm when I got home, and it was still warm and delicious. The clerk was also very kind. I would definitely like to visit again when I go to Gunma.
