More Comments at Google MapThere are 2-3 parking spaces in front of the store. Cash payment. The store has an old appearance. Only 3 table seats and counter seats. It was decorated with autographs of famous people. I ordered a large piece of fried Kabuto (half a chicken). There are large and medium sizes, but the medium ones are sold out. Crunchy on the outside, juicy and piping hot on the inside. Delicious😋. The store closes at 8:00 p.m., but many customers order take-out, so some products sell out before the store closes. In the evening, if you are coming with two or more people, it is best to make a reservation. Because there are few seats. There is a stove inside the store. The name ``Kabutoage'' is unique to Utsunomiya. postscript I visited in the evening because I wanted to eat fried turnips. It was full except for the counter. I ordered a large order of fried turnips, but they were sold out. Medium order (650 yen). One drink order system (oolong tea 350 yen). delicious.
Visited around 18:30 on March 9, 2023. Is it possible to park 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot in front of the store? However, the road in front of the store has a lot of traffic, so you need to be careful. I came to the store for takeout and ordered Kabuto fried chicken, and even though they were busy, I was glad that they were polite and accommodating. It was completed in about 15 minutes. I went home and ate. It smelled good and the meat was tender and delicious. Thank you for the meal.
A good shop where the atmosphere of Showa remains strong. The deep-fried turnip is so filling that one large piece will fill you up...! The batter is crunchy and has a complex aroma that is not just soy sauce. As for the meat, it was the first time in my life that I ate chicken and the gravy overflowed...!
