This is a local Chinese restaurant that my father, who is now in his 70s, has been to since he was young, and it is a restaurant that I have been patronizing since I was still in my mother's womb. Maybe it's because I've been coming here since I was a child, but when the master, his wife, and the old store clerks see me, they ask me, "How are you?", so it's like a second home to me (lol) The number of items on the menu is smaller than in the past, but the taste and quantity have not changed much, although there have been some changes. I love Chinese bowls and gyoza here, and sometimes I eat meat bowls and ginger-grilled set meals, but I always end up coming back to Chinese bowls (lol). Today was my weekly cheat day and I ordered Chinese rice bowl and gyoza. The price of 1,300 yen for this amount is so low that I wonder if it's profitable. I hadn't eaten anything since morning, so I was able to finish my entire meal ✌️ I already know the amount, so it depends on the person, but if you don't eat breakfast, you can easily finish the whole meal (lol) I read some reviews, and there were a few that said the service was poor, the store was old, and the food was greasy, so I'm not a regular, so I'm not going to endorse it, but here's my personal opinion. As I mentioned at the beginning, this is a Chinese restaurant in the Showa era that has been around for over 40 years. The customer base is mainly local people and Mr. Hijikata who does the heavy lifting. Based on his experience with food shortages after the war, this master began serving large portions of food with the desire to ``eat people to their fullest.'' Stores that have been rooted in the area for many years have their own business policies. Therefore, this restaurant is not suitable for those who are looking for the service and quality of a typical restaurant, or those who come in the mood of sightseeing. There are many other restaurants in this area, so we recommend that you use them. As for the taste, since this restaurant is located in the northern part of the prefecture, the seasoning is fully seasoned from the northern Kanto region. So it's natural that the seasoning is strong. It is recommended for those who like strong flavors or those who want to eat heartily, but it is not recommended for those who like bland flavors or those who eat less (although you can take it home if you leave any leftovers...) I hope this will be helpful to those who are thinking of going in the future. The prices are low, the delivery is quick, and the food is delicious, so this is one of my favorite restaurants! The master is also older than my father, but he was very energetic and active in the kitchen today without giving any impression of his age.
