If you haven't been to this restaurant before, it's essentially fast food Japanese curry. There are chains all over Japan but not all of them offer the vegetarian curry on the menu (this one does). It's a good, consistent choice that is open most hours of the day. This particular one is very clean, has friendly staff and is pleasant to sit in and eat.

CoCo offers veggie curry and low-carb curry with cauliflower rice! It makes it so easy to fit to our dietary needs. Taste is good enough. It can get expensive if you keep on adding on all of the options. It is easy to turn a 1000 yen base curry into a 3-4000 yen curry by adding meats, eggs, and veggies to it. And add-on portions are small. Nikko has a shortage of good veg options for dinner, so we made the 15 minute drive for this reliable experience.

Good curry with loads of customisation. You can even choose the stock which the curry is cooked in.
