Okayama, Japan｜CoCo Ichibanya

I stopped by this Curry House by myself, while my wife was at an event. Right above the door, there is a sign that says "We have menu in English". Great! My Japanese is quite rusty these days, and with my translator gone at an event, I figured this would be a good place to have lunch. Curry House also happens to be one of my favorite curry places in Japan, so that may have had something to do with my decision as well. Unfortunately the staff do not speak English, and I have never really ordered at a Japanese CoCo Ichibanya myself. However, their English menu has instructions that you can just point to, so that you can select your portion, spiciness, and any other customization that you may want. I believe that they should nickname Curry House, Curry Factory. As with every Curry House that I have been to, my Tonkatsu Curry with Cheese arrived in consistent form and taste. The portion size, as always, was just right. I was in and out around 20 minutes. Definitely would go back!

My choice of dinner everytime I just finished from some tiring trip and feeling very hungry. Curry never goes wrong.
