Amazing curry. We were really in the mood for Japanese curry and had tried a couple places that had already closed before coming across Kitchen Daddy. We saw the reviews and thought we would give it a go and honestly we were a bit taken aback when we arrived. It is a smoking restaurant so that was the first thing we smelt which was a bit of a put off however we were enthusiastically greeted by the friendly owner and figured we would give it a go. I had my doubts about this place when I saw the size of the kitchen and it wasn’t exactly the cleanest set up but when the dish was served I was really impressed. Huge serving, cooked perfectly, and probably the best Japanese curry sauce I’ve ever had. Don’t expect a Michelin star restaurant when you go here but I think the slight grungy-ness to this place adds to the charm and is definitely a unique experience. Not the mention the food is incredible. Well done Daddy
