Koriyama, Fukushima, Japan｜Densetsu No Sutadon'ya

My wife ordered the Suta-don (medium) and I ordered the Suta-don (with extra rice). Both were 730 yen. Unlike extra rice (+180 yen), extra rice is a service you can choose for the same price, but it costs a lot more rice. Recommended for people who like rice. (In the attached photo, you can see the white rice and the mound of meat is the increased amount of rice.) The good thing about Sutadon is that it is very filling and comes with egg and miso soup for 730 yen. Although the price has increased from before, it is still 730 yen. Even compared to gyudon, I think the cost performance is quite good. The seasoning is very salty and the rice will completely disappear. There's a small piece of seaweed on top of the rice, and it works really well. Also, it comes with two pieces of takuan to rest your chopsticks on, so please eat with care. Please do not try to eat both pieces at first. (Absolutely lol) The best thing about Sutadon is the deliciousness of the rice. You can eat just rice without eating meat. By the way, the only chain restaurants that have good rice are Nanaya and the legendary Sutadon. At other chains, I eat rice thinking, ``I guess rice is a cost-cutting option.'' (I apologize if there are people involved in chain stores who are particular about rice) Recommended for people who eat a lot or people who like gyudon but are tired of eating it. I want you to try it at least once in your life.
