Takasaki, Gunma, Japan｜Sumi-yaki Jingisukan Ishida

This grilled sheep/lamb place (I think it's called Sumiyaki Genghis Khan Ishida in English) is just fantastic - the meat we had was soft and flavourful, and the vegetables taste so great roasted on the hot plate. Very highly recommended.

I went to this specialty store of Seiyoshi Shikan after a friend made a reservation for me. He had excellent customer service and was very knowledgeable, so we had a lively conversation. In particular, the exquisite lamb chops, which are slowly grilled, are unforgettable.

It was a very delicious Shikan. The Suffolk sheep from Gunma are truly exquisite. The inside of the store is stylish, and it's a great place to go whether you're bringing kids or going on a date. This is a famous restaurant that I definitely want to visit again when I come to Takasaki. Thank you for the meal.
