More Comments at Google MapA restaurant where we recommend raw Genghis Khan. The sliced Genghis Khan was especially delicious. The price is also reasonable. The staff's customer service is very pleasant, and you can enjoy it even if you are alone.
In one of Makoto Shiina's novels, there is a story about roasting a whole lamb in Patagonia, and that inspired me to want to eat sheep, so I went to the sheep in the grassland in Kashiwa. It takes about 10 minutes for men to walk from the station. There is nothing unusual about the exterior or interior of the restaurant, giving it a good impression of a Genghis Khan restaurant. The meat is firm and chewy, and although it's not greasy, it's moist and satisfying. Personally, I thought the shoulder roast was the most delicious, so I kept repeating it. The lamb sausage was thinner than I expected and the taste was average. A little disappointing. They are particular about the sauce, which is homemade and takes about three days to make. After a meal, I add some jasmine tea to the leftover sauce and drink it. It was my first experience and it was interesting. Apparently it's a custom at Genghis Khan restaurants in Hokkaido that make their own sauce. An authentic Genghis Khan restaurant that you can enjoy in Kashiwa. I want to go again. By the way, we only accept cash. Too bad here!
2023.01.07 (Sat) Weather: Sunny I made a reservation for 19:30. Open from 17:00. I had heard that it was a popular restaurant, so I called the day before to make a reservation, and it seemed like it was open from 7:30 p.m., so I made a reservation. It seems like the restaurant is fully booked around 5:00 pm, but after 7:30 pm there were empty seats in the restaurant, so depending on the day you could go without a reservation. I ordered lamb Genghis Khan 970 yen, raw Genghis Khan 1410 yen, lamb thigh 940 yen, and lamb loin. This shop does not have a retail shop, but instead purchases sheep straight from the farm, so you can enjoy the freshest lamb meat. It certainly didn't have the distinctive odor of sheep, and everything was very easy to eat and refreshing. The freshness comes from the fish and sheep, and the store manager says that freshness is very important for both fish and sheep, so you can feel the freshness of the food. This is my first time having such delicious lamb meat. However, if you want to feel a little bit of that unique smell of lamb, the lamb loin is good. Since the loin has fat content, I could feel the smell of mutton from the oil. It's a shop that specializes in sheep that you can't eat anywhere else, so it's definitely worth a visit.
