Hakuba, Nagano, Japan｜Marukame

Awesome yakiniku place. If you are staying at Echoland, Hakuba, you must take time to visit this place. Suggest to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. You get to cook the meat over charcoal fire, which enhances the taste of the meat. The sets on the menu are absolutely great if you are in party of twos or threes. Portions are generous! We had the shrimps too. They were really sweet.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Warm welcoming staff who provided great service! Cozy restaurant with amazing food. We had the Marukane Deluxe Set for 2 and felt it was a great value for the price, especially considering some of the other restaurants around Hakuba. Absolutely would recommend.

Great Korean BBQ. Best to book at weekends - or even like today Thursday - now even though March. Lady v helpful to find you a time slot. Group area at back v atmospheric for larger groups, couples at the front like us v happy too! We chose a set - that is a good vibe. Just bbq away on your own mini bbq. Nice sake and wine also available. V reasonable for a great meal experience.
