A wonderful experience and something incredibly unique, a live crab performance by a master chef. The staff is very accommodating even without my knowledge of the Japanese language. When you arrive you’ll be able to select a live crab from their aquarium and depending on seasonality. In the winter the options were snow crab, two types of king crab and the very special male snow crab. The meal begins with an appetizer of fish and shellfish. The crab performance begins shortly thereafter. You’ll have the opportunity to try the crab raw as sashimi, then shabu shabu followed up with crab grilled. The course finishes with crab head meat and porridge and miso soup both made with crab.

Thanks Master Abo, the chef of this small but wonderful restaurant. We consumed a whole king crab with different style from sashimi, medium cook to shabu shabu. You will not forget that fresh taste from each of the cooking style. Yummy!

Thank you to the boss for the warm hospitality and making us have a happy evening. We will go there again next time we go to Japan.
