Tenei, Fukushima, Japan｜Roadside station Kinosato Tenei

I stopped by on a business trip from Tokyo. I was surprised at how cheap vegetables were!! ️ Okra is so big that it costs 120 yen per bag✨ I also bought green beans and cherry tomatoes 🍅 Cheap❗️ It was fresh, cheap and very good. There was a soft serve ice cream for sale next to the exit, so I bought a peach soft serve for 400 yen. It was very delicious. Next time, I would like to try the 350 yen soft serve ice cream. It would be nice to have a roadside station like this nearby... Apparently there is only one roadside station in Tokyo🤣 Moreover, it’s far away from Hachioji and other places 💔💦 I thought roadside stations were the best place to buy freshly harvested vegetables at a low price.

“Michi no Eki Tokinosato Tenei” in Tenei Village, Fukushima Prefecture was reopened on May 27, 2023 along National Route 294, and is a very spacious and beautiful roadside station. The sales floor area is doubled, and the parking lot secures about 90 cars. Fresh vegetables and rice such as yacon and green onions, which are local specialties of Tenei Village, are sold at the sales floor, and in the dining space, you can enjoy ramen supervised by the long-established ``Gyunyu Shokudo'' in Aizuwakamatsu City and ``Tenei Ginjo Yakidon''.

I stopped by on my way back from Lake Inawashiro. It's a normal roadside station. I bought some oranges It was insanely sweet. Then, I saw some nice Mishirazu persimmons on sale, so I bought a box of them.
