More Comments at Google MapI come here all the time, and everything I eat here is delicious! Because it's grilled over charcoal, the aroma and texture are irresistible. The serving time is a bit long, but once you eat what comes out, you won't notice it! I always order the Toro Saba Mirin set meal + radish stew.
I visited right after opening on a Sunday. Waiting time is 0. There were counter seats and table seats, but most were counter seats. I think it's easy to enter even if you're a solo female. Ordering is done via touch panel. You could also choose the amount of rice. There was a variety of options including grilled fish set meals, boiled fish set meals, fried fish set meals, individual menus, and drinks. All of them are additive-free and can be eaten with peace of mind. The charcoal-grilled fish had just the right amount of salt and could be eaten deliciously even without soy sauce. The mackerel had no bones and was very easy to eat. Next time I will try other menu items as well.
You can enjoy the authentic taste of a dried fish specialty store at a reasonable price. The interior of the store creates a calm atmosphere that emphasizes the warmth of wood. There was a sense of cleanliness throughout the store. I was left with a good impression as the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. I like Atka mackerel, so I ordered the ``Extra Large Atka mackerel set meal.'' I was surprised when the food came out. It was surprisingly large. I took out the bones, ate it by simmering it, and enjoyed the skin as well. The plump, soft flesh and fragrant, fatty skin were irresistible. It was so filling that it took me about 30 minutes to finish it. There was also a half-hokke mackerel set meal on the menu, but I thought it was possible depending on the situation. I remember buying it at a take-out specialty dried fish store with the same name in Yugawara. When I asked the staff at the store, it seems that this store was the place where it originated. I believe that the quality that can be enjoyed only at a specialty store can only be achieved through a directly managed store. There are many set meal restaurants that serve meat dishes, but this one is rare. If you like or are interested in dried fish, please visit this store. I recently visited the store again and this time I ate the half-hokke mackerel set meal, but compared to the extra-large atka mackerel set meal, the taste was vastly different. Various parts of the half body had been removed, and the fish itself was small, so the fat content was low. It's hard to say because there are individual differences between fish, but I think I'll try the extra large mackerel mackerel set meal. Also, the ventilation is quite powerful, so if you're sensitive to cold, it might be a good idea to dress a little warmer. The photo is of an extra-large atka mackerel set meal. I forgot to take a photo of the half-body mackerel set meal. I think it would be even better to have a single dish and a set of pickles to solve the lack of vegetables.
