Here at the store at Ikebukuro's west exit, you get a large bowl of rice for free, a small side dish, salad, and miso soup, and you get change with just a 1,000 yen bill, which is great.

I visited for lunch a few days ago. Marutomi~ is also on the 2nd floor of Tunchin near the love hotel at the east exit (south exit), and I often had dinner there (I wonder if the name was changed to Marutomi Shokudo over there), but this place is right next to the west exit (north exit). I visited the shop for the first time at lunch. When I looked it up again, it was a series of Tonchin. I've liked Ton-chin for a long time, so I have a better impression. On this day, I ordered the "Daily Fresh Fish Pickled Rice Bowl" from the lunch menu. This sense of fulfillment after cutting 1000 yen... I feel a lot of corporate effort. It seems that a large serving of rice is also possible (the picture is a normal serving). First of all, the garnish is simmered squid and daikon radish, salad, shredded Chinese yam, thick omelette, and clam miso soup. I feel like eating salad with sauce and yam with soy sauce. By the way, both the sauce and soy sauce seem to be the original brand of this shop provided by OEM from Chiba Soy Sauce in Katori. Atsuyaki tamago is not sweet and goes well with cooking. I remember that the clam miso soup had a great flavor. Oh yeah, I also got cold tea. I'm happy this time of year. It's the main pickled bowl, but as you can see. It was very delicious……. The egg yolk is on top of it...the condiments are shiso seeds and wasabi on a separate plate, and sweet and sour pickled ginger to cleanse the palate...you can see that it's well suited for fish dishes. The food is delicious and the cost performance is outstanding, there is nothing to say. Ikebukuro's strength is that there are shops that you can go to every day. P.S. I found a mysterious device on the counter with an RS-232C terminal and uploaded it. It wasn't cooking utensils, but a store information system... Well, it's a bit disappointing if that's the case...
