We had a mini kaiseki lunch with reasonably priced and delicious wine. It's a restaurant run by a married couple, so when there are a lot of customers, it might take a while to get the food, but personally, it didn't really bother me. I was very satisfied with the Shokado bento I had last time, but this time's kaiseki was also very good value. The atmosphere of the shop is very cozy, and the owner and his wife are both very pleasant people, so I would definitely like to visit them again.

At lunch time, I had the Shokado bento box. Even though it's a Shokado bento, it's two squares larger than a typical four-part bento box, and has plenty of volume. This comes with red soup stock, pickled vegetables, and two desserts for 1,500 yen, which is a great value. They also used good utensils. I'm sorry to say this, but considering the location and the atmosphere from the entrance, the inside of the store is surprisingly spacious, and has a calm and stylish interior. All of the dishes were delicious, but the crab shinjo and freshly fried tempura were especially good when I ate them. I'm thinking of ordering kaiseki the next time I visit.
