The staff is really friendly. I was served by a young male staff (I forgot to ask for his name so I can tag him in this review. But there was only one male server at night.) I don’t read Japanese but he was very patient. He provided me suggestion and answered my questions patiently. The restaurant is very clean and tidy as well. The food is good and priced decently. It was a great experience to dine here.

Very friendly owner & stuff, amazing authentic Japanese food!

I'm a Chinese man who recently moved to this area. At the time, I was worried that there weren't many restaurants around here, but when I searched on Google Maps, I found that there were surprisingly many restaurants with good reviews. Among them, I am particularly attracted to Matsumaru. The reason is as follows. I would appreciate it if you could refer to it. 1. The nutritional balance of the meal is excellent. I always order a small colorful set meal for lunch. You can feel that the food is prepared with careful consideration of the balance of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, etc. 2. The cleanliness inside the store is very good. 3. As for the price, it varies from person to person, so I'll try to be conservative, but I think I can get a dish that is worth the price. 4. There is also terrace seating. Right next door is a road famous for its cherry blossom views. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, you can experience an experience that cannot be enjoyed anywhere else. 5. The staff's customer service is wonderful. In particular, I feel that the way they use Japanese is very friendly even to me, a foreigner. 6. The menu is extensive and there are plenty of dishes to choose from. They offer meat, fish, vegetable dishes, and even soup dumplings, which are hard to find elsewhere. Lastly, I would be very happy if you could add more vegetable dishes to the evening menu. PS: The cat owned by the owner is very cute.
