Best omurice I've ever had. The menu is in japanese but omurice is the first thing on the list.

It's located right next to Shin-Shibamata Station on the Hokuso Line, but it looks like you might pass by if you're not careful. Even though it's run by an old man, the menu has a huge variety! I ordered a pork bowl based on my husband's recommendation, but surprisingly, a pork kimchi bowl came out (lol) It also comes with a vegetable dumpling soup, but if you order a pork bowl, you can get both for ¥ 200-, but if you order a pork bowl, you can have both. Really cheap and surprised! ️ Since the husband is working alone, it may not be suitable for people in a hurry.

It was a very delicious and satisfying restaurant! For lunch on a weekday, I had the ``Pork and Eggplant Stir-Fried Sweet Miso Set Meal'' for 700 yen. The restaurant has an old feel to it, with the atmosphere of a restaurant loved by the locals. I was a little hesitant when I entered the store because a few local regulars came in earlier and were having a good time chatting with each other, but the owner greeted me kindly and I felt at ease. The set meal consists of a large main dish, shredded cabbage, plenty of pickles, dumpling soup with lots of toppings, and a heaping amount of rice. At 700 yen, this is a great value for money. The main course was of course delicious, and what surprised me was the deliciousness of the miso soup with lots of fishball dumplings (?). There was also a single item for 200 yen, so it was so delicious that I wanted a second helping. The rice is not just plain white rice, it's cooked with mushrooms and has a slight dashi flavor, making it very delicious. Apparently, you can have free refills of rice. The menu has a lot to offer, from set meals to a la carte items, side dishes with alcohol, and even Italian food.Next time, I'd like to order a la carte item or Italian food for dinner. Please note that the owner is running the restaurant by himself, so you should expect to wait about 15 minutes. Even so, the host was very considerate and prepared for us, saying, ``Sorry for keeping you waiting.'' Even though he was busy, he was very kind and accommodating to our group with small children.The warm atmosphere of the host made me feel at ease. did. It was funny to see the regulars with their children drinking alcohol in the middle of the day. lol I will definitely come back again when I come to this area (^^)
