More Comments at Google MapSuper friendly staff and atmosphere. Typical small shop with 10 seats inside. There was a line before it opened. I think it blew up on social media. Tea was served to all who are waiting, even the ones waiting outside. The onigiri was delicious and a lot bigger than I anticipated. It was a very satisfying meal. I would say it was definitely worth it. I will come back when I am in the area.
Came here with a friend. Onigiri options were amazing and the portion size is actually quite large. We got free miso with our onigiri. Definitely a must try if you’re in the Shinjuku area. They do take away as an option if you’re unable to get a seat. If you’re an English speaker, it’d be a good idea to look at the menu before going to know what to order as their menu is in Japanese. My friend and I got すじこ (salty roe), 明太子 (small spicy roe), ツナマヨ (tuna mayo) and うちくらけ (uni and jellyfish). We enjoyed all flavours and will definitely be returning!
Birthed by one of the staff at the original shop in Otsuka (Obongo) the Shinjuku store lives up to its master's creation. The service was both quick and friendly and the food is no joke. You will never look at Onigiri the same after here. Whilst waiting in que might suck and some people prefer take out instead. The eat in experience is definitely a must.
