Local “mom-and-pop” rice ball shop in Shin-Koganei. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. They have weekly & monthly menus in addition to their regular menu. The rice is adequately salted and the filling takes up more than 1/3 of the rice ball. To order, they ask you to write the name of the rice ball on a piece of paper, and the menus are unfortunately in Japanese only. In addition to the standard menu, there are also weekly and monthly menus, so it's fun. I think the rice balls are soft and have just the right amount of salt. When ordering, you write it on a piece of paper and give it to them and wait for about 5 minutes.
This shop is located in front of the station closest to my parents' house. My family often buys rice balls here, and this was my first visit. It seems like it's usually crowded, but today it happened to be empty. The order is completed by writing it on paper and handing it over. It's a very popular restaurant, so if you have a large quantity, we recommend making a reservation by phone. When I entered the store, there were many order forms for telephone reservations. There are so many different types that you might be confused, but each piece is large and very filling, so be careful not to order too much. It was delicious today too. Thank you for the meal.
