Shinagawa City, Tokyo, Japan｜Ichijyu Onigiri Ichiryu Manpuku

A lovely experience and a great place to get your onigiri fix. I walked in on a Tuesday evening and was the only person there. I ordered the two onigiri set and it came with soup and pickled vegetables. The salmon (しゃけ) and pork kimchi (豚キムチ) were both outstanding, and there’s just something about eating a warm, fresh rice ball that can’t be beat. The staff working there were also delightful, and we had a nice little chat. I will certainly make my way back here to try the other tasty flavors.

A nice rice ball specialty shop a couple minutes from the station. It's not cheap but everything is good quality and healthy and rice balls are made to order. Friendly and helpful staff. A choice or rotation of miso soup types would be welcome.
