Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan｜Nakaichi Honten (Neko Manma Yaki Onigiri)

One of the most popular shop in this street. Weekend we need to wait for a hour but weekday sometimes its for 10-15minutes! I don’t want to wait for a hour. But if there is less than 10people, I recommend to buy! It’s soy sauce flavored grilled rice ball topped with dried fish flakes which you can choose bonito or sardine. I bought both and both are great! Please enjoy Kawagoe!

This shop is known for a special grilled rice ball(¥250/per) There is always a long que. The onigiri I ordered, Bonito flavor was very good. The rice is crispy, bonito flakes and taste of soy sauce spread in my mouth.

The owner is very kind and helpful person. You should try the fried onigiri (rice ball)
