Kumagaya, Saitama, Japan｜Udon Sakuraya

Had Shoga udon I didn't expect that I could have this delicious Udon in Saitama! Chewy al dente noodle!! And quite big volume! Very satisfied! Want to come again!

From the middle of June to the beginning of July, there were various things, and since I was finally able to get back to my daily life, I first visited [Undon Sakuraya] in Mishoshinden, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture for the first time to eat udon. I ordered "Meat soup udon (average)", "Kakiage udon (average of meat juice)" and "Two chikuwa tempura" from the tabelog coupon! The kakiage, which was larger than expected, was shared by the couple, and they ate it all! Even though the udon was thin, it had just the right amount of chewiness, and I was able to enjoy the delicious udon.

Visited on Sunday around 1pm. It just so happened that there was an empty seat, so I entered the restaurant right away. However, even after that, customers continued to come to the store and there seemed to be a bit of a wait. I ordered zaru udon, ginger udon (large size + 100 yen), and tempura three-piece assortment. The udon is chewy and smooth! delicious! The surface of the udon noodles was shiny. What really impressed me was the ginger udon.You can eat it with the soup, but you can eat it with just the raw soy sauce and ginger. I was impressed. The tempura had large green peppers, eggplant, and green beans in a bamboo ring. Freshly fried, crispy and juicy. Both the udon and tempura were delicious. Thank you for the meal. Around 17:30, I stopped by again on my way home from some errands and bought some udon noodles to take home as a souvenir. I'm also looking forward to eating it at home.
