It used to be an izakaya that was open in the evenings, but now it's only open for lunch. The taste is perfect. The master is a shy person, which makes the landlady very friendly. In the area around Yasu Yamabe Station, Machiya is the only restaurant where you can eat sashimi at a good price and for a delicious lunch. Recommended.

I visited the store right after it opened on Friday, and of course there were no other customers, so I was the first one in and it was quiet. You can't see the inside of the store from the entrance, but when you turn down a short hallway, you'll see a counter on your left and a low table on your right.There's also a Japanese-style room of about 6 tatami mats in front. I immediately ordered a seafood bowl, and what came out soon was not just a donburi, but a bowl like the one in the photo. Of course, the main dish, donburi, was delicious, but you could clearly see the care that went into each small bowl, which made it very delicious. I will take the opportunity to visit you again soon.
