I went around 1pm on a Sunday and was seated right away. There are only table seats, so it's difficult to enter alone, but it was empty so it wasn't a problem. There are so many options on the menu that it's hard to choose, but I ate the Genghis Khan set meal from the lunch menu. Personally, I felt that the meat could have been more mutton-ish, but it was delicious. At lunch, you get free refills of rice and coffee and tea, so it's very reasonable. This set meal also included boiled and steamed dishes, so it was very satisfying.

When I was passing by, I was curious about the store name Otaru and the Zangi flag, so I entered the store. When you enter the entrance, take off your shoes and put them in the shoe box. I was hungry after being guided to my seat, so I asked for a Zangi set meal. It came with cabbage, zangi, miso soup, pickles, boiled hijiki, steamed pumpkin, dumplings, and potatoes. As for drinks, coffee and tea can be refilled for free. Water is also self-serve. There was a jar for rice and I was able to refill it for free. Everything was delicious and finished in no time. Next time, I would like to have a daily lunch with sashimi, which was sold out.

I used it for lunch. I ordered the atka mackerel set meal (1,320 yen including tax). Atka mackerel is so big that it protrudes from the plate as you can see in the picture. It was moderately greasy and delicious. The lunch time seems to be popular, and even though it was lunchtime on a weekday, it was very crowded and there was a wait because the seats were full. It's a little pricey, but it's filling, and there are many other lunch menus, so you'll want to go several times. I can see why it's crowded.
