"So good it could convert a vegan!" Absolutely beautiful food, the pork and rice are sourced from Hokkaido. The staff offered us english menu for the food, and for the drink we just got saki (was really good) HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gordon Ramsey would approve!

The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality you are served. Some waiters knew English and provided English menus for non-japanese speakers. The Sake list pairs well with the meals and complimentary barley tea was provided after dining. Would go here every day if I could

Absolutely delicious! We came around lunchtime on a weekday and were immediately seated. Service was excellent and the table was spotless. Lunch tonkotsu cutlet sets were 1500円 each, incredibly reasonable given the quality of food. The restaurant itself has a top-class aura that can be expected in this area of Sakae, and the meal lived up to the high expectations we had upon entering. Meat was tender, salad was crisp and fresh (dressing not pictured, but is available at the table), the soup was rich and full of diverse ingredients, and the rice was absolutely perfect. It’s not a meal I’d eat every day, given the moderately higher price point relative to some cheaper (<1000円) lunch options, but this was one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan, and it’s more than worth it. When I inevitably return, I hope to try some of the other menu items!
