Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Otako Shinjuku

This is one of my favourite places in Shinjuku for their piping hot oden. But what's more impressive is the level of passion and servitude from the chef and his crew- if you meet the chef in person you'll know what I mean. I went in Apr/May period and writing this review now because talking about Japan with friends really made me reminiscence the food and ESP the chef master. Highly recommend this place for the delectable food and service.

Very good Oden. Oden broth is on the sweeter side. All the choices of Oden are good. Daikon, tamago, hanpen, gyusuji are great. Really enjoyable place to visit.

It was my first meet with japanese oden, and I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for local gourmet. Friendly staffs, clean and neat interiors, delicious foods and unique energy make this place more stand out. I personnally recommend Tofu, Daikon(boiled radish), Gyu-suji(Wagyu tendon). They also has menu in English and Korean
