Osaka, Japan｜旨おでん だんだん

Discovered this hidden gem after visiting the Osaka castle. The owners (I think they are the owners of the shop, forgot to ask) are super friendly and treated us with respect even though our Japanese is bad. The oden was so tasty, and the fish noodles were super delicious. The place is small and only has bar seatings, but it is very cozy. We had a great time there and I was able to practice my Japanese a little. If you are looking for a non touristy place to get authentic Japanese food this is the place!

An oden restaurant with a homely atmosphere. When I entered the store, the first floor was full, but there was a horigotatsu tatami room on the second floor, so I went to the second floor. There are 4 tables for 4 people, so banquets are also possible. The soup stock is changed depending on the type of oden, and they are all very delicious. The single dish was as delicious as the oden. Also, the proprietress of this shop was kind and very pleasant. It is a shop that I definitely want to visit again.

Although it is a very small shop, it has a nice atmosphere and serves delicious oden.
