Sakurai, Nara, Japan｜Miwa Somen Nagashi

I came at about 2 p.m. and waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was lively but peaceful and the food was delicious. Also for a little less than 1600 yen I got nagashi soumen, tempura, and a delicious asari rice dish. I normally eat quite a bit, but the portion size was enough to even leave me full enough that I might not need dinner... the service too, was lovely, and everyone I spoke to was exceptionally kind, even for Japan. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area traveling Yama no Be no Michi.

We drive 30mins from Osaka to try this and it is definitely worth the trip. I rate it 5 stars. Noodles taste good, and swimming noodle make it fun. Other dishes like Tempura and Rice are also great. The service is also very kind and comfortable. If we have a chance we will come back for sure. We love it!

I remember coming here for noodles several years ago! Owner was super nice & showed us his cool tech gadgets! The noodles were super refreshing after a loooong hike on Yamanobe-no-michi Trail.
