Omi Champon ramen is the best.

For lunch, go to Champon-tei, a restaurant that is well-known for being a part of everyone's dining table. I ordered the normal Champon and fried chicken set. Seriously, what is this puusuu so delicious? The noodles are X-GUN, the vegetables are crunchy, the wood ear mushrooms are tender, and the pork is sweet! The fried chicken is divine! Crispy and juicy, with just the right amount of ginger to bring out the flavor of the chicken. Ah, what is that? Just thinking about it made me want to eat it.

I visited on a tour. I wanted to eat something unique to Shiga, so I looked it up and found that Champon is famous, so I ended up with Champon-tei, a local chain store. I really liked the light soup with plenty of vegetables! 😆 I want to eat again when I come to Shiga 🤭
