Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜Udon SEN

Very tasty Sanuki style udon. Went on a weekday for lunch with a colleague around noon and there was a line but the wait wasn’t that bad maybe around 10 min. All the staff move so quick and optimized and the food is quick so customers come and go fast. Had the cold beef udon with a mini Tendon (tempura bowl) set, ¥1,320. You get to choose for Oroshi (grated daikon radish) or egg so got the egg. The udon was smooth and had so much bounce and the meat was close to a sukiyaki taste, very delicious. The Tendon was also fresh and crispy shrimp and a variety of vegetable tempura. Actually not “mini” and would get less rice next time. The curry udon also looked very good so want to try it. Would definitely go again and recommend to others. Gochiso-sama-deshita!

Very thick tasty and springy udon noodles. Oden was also delicious with the pairing of a miso dipping sauce and wasabi. Authentic Japanese restaurant with fitting interior and Japanese menu only. Prices are reasonable too.
