The location is the bar street in front of JR Gifu Station, the place where you went to the back of the street of Tamamiyacho. 17 years ago, Mr. Saito, who was the manager of an izakaya, opened his own restaurant, Daikon. At that time, there was redevelopment in front of the station, and fashionable new shops were opening in Tamamiya-cho, and it was so crowded that it was difficult to walk on weekends. Because of this situation, all the shops are overcrowded. Although he became independent in such a situation, he said, "I want to cook only for customers who come to eat my food." We purposely set up a shop at the farthest end of the restaurant street from the station. Because I chose such a difficult path, I had a hard time attracting customers at first, but eventually it spread by word of mouth and became a popular restaurant. And we decided to move to a larger location, but again, we didn't move near the station and moved a little further away. This commitment is also amazing, but the dishes that Mr. Saito makes are exceptional, and he always provides dishes that are very particular. When I look at the reviews of restaurants, they say that the oden is delicious, but I almost never eat oden. The oden is also delicious, so I would like to eat it, but the best food is the best if you make a special request, so I always ask you to leave it to me. I also went to eat oden at first, but other customers who came were eating things that were not on the menu, so which dish was that? When I asked, the person over there was my senior and always offered a different menu. If you don't mind, how about making it the way you like it next time? That's the beginning of the special menu. This time I haven't been able to go for a long time due to the corona sickness, so it's been 4 years since I've visited, but I'm going with an important business partner executive, so I'll ask for a delicious one! It was a visit that I made a reservation by phone about 10 days ago. I didn't specify the content in particular, and since both of us are already old, I asked them to be kind to their bodies. And this time the food was exactly as pictured. After sticking out oboro tofu, The first item, the turban shell, was beautifully handled for each part with different hardness, and I enjoyed various textures. Our business partners are also happy that this is delicious and they didn't know there was such a good shop in Gifu. The second item is salt-grilled sweetfish from the Maze River. I'm sure you liked sweetfish, didn't you? It was a dish that reminded me of my love for sweetfish. I'm so happy that this worry is amazing. And the third item is grilled eggplant. This was also a choice because he remembered that I like eggplant. The eggplant was well cooked to the skin and was very delicious. After that, I had the classic sake snacks, grilled edamame in soy sauce and butter, and corn kakiage. Would you like to eat the radish on the signboard menu? I was asked, so of course! I asked for two answers. Even though it is such a large radish, it is of course an exquisite radish that is moderately soft with the taste soaking into the inside. Next, I got beef tendon, which is also my favorite. I stopped cooking because my stomach felt better, but it was a very satisfying dinner. The owner is very picky, but he is very shy and humble. It's a dish that looks good. This time, I have a lot of thoughts and I will review it for the first time, but I would like to go to eat more while I can. This time was also very delicious.
