Joetsu, Niigata, Japan｜Maruko

Joetsu Nakamachi is full of pubs. My number one is Gangi-tei, but it's my second favorite izakaya. If you compare it to Bastard Blues, if Ganbutei is Maeda Daison, then Maruko is like Kasai. If I were to compare myself to a flower man, if Gangi-tei is Domyoji, then Maruko is Hanazawa. I don't know if it's a good analogy, but it's a restaurant just as good as Gangi-tei. (lol) There are counter seats on the first floor and private table seats on the second floor. All the dishes are delicious, especially the seafood! And alcohol. This place has an impressive lineup of alcoholic beverages, with a selection of brands that will please Japanese sake lovers. The food and drinks are good, and most of the girls working part-time are young. It is a good shop.

It was my first time visiting. All the dishes served were delicious. And it was perfect for delicious Japanese sake. It was fun to hear a lot of local stories. Thank you for teaching me how to make fried eggs. I'll do my best I would like to visit the store again when I go to Joetsu 🎵

This time I made a reservation and came to the store from the time it opened. The food menu changes daily, and they have a good selection of sake, and locals even keep their bottles. I had a great time and enjoyed talking with the staff at the store.
