More Comments at Google MapThis restaurant is famous for their crab. Even those who are not so keen about crab end up enjoying it after a meal here. The restaurant has 3 private rooms. We had 2 of the rooms joined together, as we were a quite a large party, with 9 of us. This is a quiet, elegant restaurant, with high-quality service. What makes this restaurant so special is the various ways they prepare the crab for their diners. Large chunks of crab sashimi, crab "shabu-shabu", char-grilled crab, just to name a few. We were able to fully enjoy every last piece of a large King Crab, until we couldn't eat any more. I personally was never a huge fan of crab, but I totally love it now after dining here! It was really wonderful. The other menu items, featuring seasonal ingredients, were just as delicious, with a lot of thought and care put into its preparation. To finish off the meal, we had kamameshi (rice and vegetable cooked in a small pot) with ikura (salmon roe) and stewed Japanese beef, of which you can have as many helpings as you want! I probably ate about 3 months' worth of ikura that night. Everyone was so full from all the crab, but the kamameshi was so delicious that some people even had second helpings. If you have any friends visiting from overseas, you definitely want to take them here!
A little difficult to find if you can’t read Japanese, but amazing food. We got the two crab option and would 100% recommend.
Wow amazing experience. Most people probably think they have had "fresh crab" but in reality almost nobody sells fresh crab, its always frozen due to spoilage issues (esp king crab). The crab course is amazing, tasting fresh king crab (raw, semi-raw, boiled, etc) is an amazing treat. I will go again with family and friends. One warning they cut the crab live as part of the show -- so squeemish folks stay at home. A few things I think could be improved though -- we had Uni combo, it was actually too much Uni. I never thought I could say "too much uni" but it was overload of a good thing. Maybe they could mix up the leftovers & rice into fried rice in the end for take home. (Actually they do make onigiri and take home for crab which is very nice).
