Kairo @ Meguro Station I didn't know anything about it, but apparently it was a restaurant that mainly served offal hotpot. The shop is located underground, down a narrow and steep staircase. From what I saw, there were only horigotatsu seats, so be prepared to take off your shoes. As mentioned in other reviews, the seats are a little small, so it's best for private use. Not suitable for entertainment etc. Since it was a Friday, it was quite busy. It looked like it was quite busy, but the slender lady who worked at the hall was pleasant and kind...and a nice person... The menu is extensive, and in addition to the grand menu, there are also occasional recommendations, and the staff member showed me a handwritten note with the day's recommendations. I ordered the red bean liver and striped horse mackerel as today's recommendations. Both the monkfish liver and striped horse mackerel sashimi were good. In particular, striped horse mackerel has been my favorite fish since I was a child, but I hadn't eaten it recently, so it was a nice surprise. Fresh itself. And the main offal hot pot. I think there were three types: soy sauce, white miso, and miso. Sorry, I'm vaguely remembering this part. I ordered soy sauce. The soup is clear and the offal looks fresh. There were also hearts in it. The rest includes standard ingredients such as cabbage and chives. When I ate it after it was boiled, it had a surprisingly refreshing flavor that even I, who has a tired stomach, could easily eat. What makes me happy is that you can order a variety of motsu nabe toppings for free. White sesame, shichimi, ichimi, yuzu pepper, and more. In the end, I got some rice porridge and went home. The rice porridge was also delicious. We had about 3 drinks for 2 people, and it cost about 4500 yen per person. I think the price was a good deal considering the content. Motsu nabe was delicious. I would like to try a different flavor next time.
