Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan｜Motsushige

It was the most memorable experience we had when visited Kamakura. Best local Japanese cuisine with local beer and sake. Unbelievable services even though we are foreigners. The food was melt in the mouth. We ordered multiple skewers (including the pork intestine - which turned out my favourite!!), a few tapas & etc. We going to miss this place. Wish they thrive in the future for our next visit 😁

2023.11.7 First visit I arrived around 4pm on a weekday. There are only a few customers in the store, so since I'm visiting alone, I sit at the counter and order lemon sour and meatballs, as well as motsuni and shiro, which I've heard are delicious. The lemon sour and offal stew came out right away, so I ate it right away and it was delicious! It's salty, but it's a rich soup with plenty of fat from the pig's large intestine, commonly known as Shirokoro. You should definitely try the stew, which has a salty taste that cannot be expressed with soy sauce or miso. Next, the grilled food arrives, and the meatballs and shiro are cooked to your liking, with the surface becoming golden and charred. The best part is that you add the sauce and then add it to the grill to brown it. The stew was so delicious that I asked if I could take it out, and they said yes, so I asked. I think it would be better to bring your own container as the Tupperware cost is about 500 yen, but this is my first visit so I have no choice. Thank you for the meal

Highballs are cheap and delicious! ! It's hard to find a better value for money than this. At least for me, who drinks here and there, it's the best in Kanagawa.
