Yokkaichi, Mie, Japan｜Yamachan

Great beer, a variety of small plates, and very well known for its wings! This is a loud, cheerful place to eat, with many dishes to choose from, and beat enjoyed with groups of friends! There might be a wait if you come during dinner time, as this place tends to get very popular and crowded after work.

Izakayas are just so convenient for quick bites, hangouts, or just to grab some beer. And near the Kintetsu-Yokkaichi station are many, many izakayas. Something about Yamachan’s keeps me coming back. It is one of my most visited places near the station. Yamachan’s is known for their wings which I recommend. As an added bonus, you can take it to go. Nothing to really dislike, except the wait. Since the store is relatively small and a lot of people usually reserve tables and rooms. You’ll find yourself waiting outside for at least 30 minutes for a table to clear up.

Great Tebasaki (Chicken Wings)! Good for all ages. If you come late you might smell some smoke. But expect that everything is perfect 💯
