Kyoto, Japan｜Kushiyaki Manten - Shijo Karasuma

Yum, yum, yum!! Months later and I'm still dreaming of my delicious meal here especially the black seseme brûlée! -all so reasonable. Tried to return the next day to eat again but caught a closed time. I'm including English menu pics- highly recommend for a sensational experience. We did stop by an hr or two ahead to reserve, it's very popular/ gets full.

We were supposed to be just passing by. Food and drinks were really good - fresh and cooked just right. (We also had the wagyu, which melted in our mouth but I have no photos)

Alright if you guys are looking for a good izakaya in kyoto at night this is the place for you. The place is super packed and I highly recommend to do a reservation so you dont have to wait. Since the place is really busy, ordering alot at once before hand would be your best move. Price point is worth it for the quality and taste and just a really good place to talk, have some drinks and eat some good food. I dont even like hotate but that garlic hotate is really good.
