Toyokawa, Aichi, Japan｜ろばた五代目縄のれん

Nawanoren is an izakaya located right near Meitetsu Yawata Station (Toyokawa City) that has been loved by locals for a long time. This is an extremely popular izakaya in the area, but this is my first visit (^-^) Even so, the fifth generation is amazing. I think the strength of this history will blow away the coronavirus. This is a hybrid izakaya where the owner is very personable, the food is cheap and delicious, and you can enjoy a variety of B-class gourmet foods. This day was also a day of freedom as my wife and children were away. Let's go drinking alone on a day like this (^-^)/ First of all, let's start with the appearance. I can't stand the feeling of being in this place. In the Higashi Mikawa area, one of the charms of the area is that there are many long-established shops that remain and continue to do their best, such as Sankai, which I posted about last time (^^) When I went inside, I was happy to see that it was surprisingly empty that day. The general welcomed us with a big smile. It was obvious that I had called beforehand to confirm the business, saying, “Are you the person who called earlier?” (^^; There are many different menu items that you might want to try, but please take your time and choose the following. ●Namida pot / 630 yen ●Kushikatsu (pork, onion, eggplant) / 100 yen each ●Stir-fried pork garlic sprouts/480 yen ●Nagoya style curry udon/650 yen First of all, the first thing I wanted to eat was the "Namida no Tsubo" in the first photo! There's plenty of pickled tuna and white meat in the pot, and on top there's egg yolk and heaps of wasabi! This is the reason for "Namida no...". This makes my nose hurt. Addictive taste! i love this! It might taste similar to tuna yukke. This is a must-try dish on the famous menu (^^) Next is “Kushikatsu”! All items are reasonably priced at 100 yen! Osaka-style "Doujizuke Akan!" style. The clothing is thin and it's just like Osaka. The timing of frying is perfect and it's super delicious (^^) These “kushikatsu” are available every Tuesday! All items will be 50 yen! Reservations are required on Tuesdays! Another delicious dish is the “Nagoya-style curry udon”! I don't think people outside the prefecture know this, but ``curry udon'' in Nagoya has been popular for a long time, has a history of being a B-class gourmet dish, and is of high quality. Nagoya is a treasure trove of B-class gourmet food, so it's hidden (^^; Everything was delicious! I would like to try other things as well (^-^)
