From Shimonoseki, we headed north to the Sea of ​​Japan, and as the temperature rose, we headed inland from Joetsu. After staying one night at Nozawa Onsen and taking a day trip to Shichimi Onsen, I stopped by for lunch. I had bamboo shoot soup, Tsukimi soba, and salted rice balls. Everything was very delicious. The rice balls and rice are so delicious! And cheap! I couldn't help but look at the price list twice when checking out. When I asked about the details of the road that leads to Shibu Pass and Mt. Shirane, he even called me and asked me about it, which I am grateful for. The two lovely ladies working at the store made me feel very welcome and I had a great time. Apparently it's open during bamboo shoot season and Obon. I will drop by again.

You can take a break here, maybe in a curved bamboo suit. The parking lot is large and easy to park, and there is an observatory on the other side of the road, and the waterfall from there is beautiful.

I stopped by to see the waterfall. I bought the Shinano sweets and log mushroom mushroom mushrooms on sale, and they are very delicious! The Shinano Sweet was better than the one I bought elsewhere at twice the price, so it was a great deal! I don't think you can get such a splendid one at this price!
